'The Deadman' isn't considered essential for the show.

WWE legend The Undertaker, having been told by his employers not to bother with the big SmackDown premiere a fortnight ago, has likewise not been booked for the upcoming Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia later this month.

Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter this week that, although we're just two weeks short of the event, 'The Deadman' is not expected to be part of the Riyadh trip. It's believed that with huge outside names Cain Velasquez and Tyson Fury already scheduled to wrestle on the show, 'Taker's presence is not necessary.

The Phenom has been a notable draw in each of WWE's previous visits to the desert kingdom. He squashed Rusev in a casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble, before going on to headline Crown Jewel alongside Kane, vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels, in one of the company's worst ever matches.

That is, until his complete disaster versus Goldberg at this June's Super ShowDown.

Speaking of Goldberg, Meltzer also reports that big Bill is not expected to appear at this year's Crown Jewel either.

The Undertaker's last match in WWE came at Extreme Rules, where he partnered with Roman Reigns to see off Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. He was recently spotted in a Glasgow branch of Nando's eating some chicken.
