The Undertaker's 10 Greatest Hell In A Cell WWE Moments

The master of the cell.

The Undertaker is the master of WWE's Hell In A Cell. It was way back in October 1997 that his love affair with the demonic structure started, in a bloody and brutal match with Shawn Michaels. That match earned five stars in Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and set a new precedent for marrying ferocity and excellence. That night was the first cell match in WWE history, and the structure had been specifically designed for Taker and Michaels. Both had input into the concept, mixing ideas of traditional cage matches and WCW's War Games. One of the first thoughts Michaels had, was about doing a spot on top of the structure. Those cell roof spots would end up becoming synonymous with The Undertaker. He earned a reputation as the innovator of Hell In A Cell's most memorable moments, and wrestled several more sensational matches inside the structure. Some of his cell spots are now considered part of WWE folklore. His actions came to define the marketability and mythos around Hell In A Cell. As he now prepares to return to his hellacious playground on October 25th against Brock Lesnar, it is time to look back on The Undertaker's ten greatest Hell In A Cell moments.
