At the start of this month, esteemed Manhattan venue Madison Square Garden let slip that The Undertaker would be making an appearance at WWE's house show scheduled for the arena on 7 July. Now, MSG's calendar appears to have revealed the identity of the Deadman's opponent.

According to the venue's website, 'Taker will team with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman opposite Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin, and Elias in a six-man tag.

Reigns bested Undertaker at last year's WrestleMania, after which it was widely assumed the Phenom had hung up his hat for good. The 53-year old made a dramatic return to the ring this past April, squashing John Cena as a warm-up for his Royal requisition as part of WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble puff piece in Saudi Arabia. 'Taker shut Rusev in a casket in the Gulf kingdom.

Considering he was seemingly retired last April, it's turning into a busy year for Undertaker. In addition to his MSG date on 7 July, Big Evil is also penned in for a match opposite likewise-veteran Triple H at WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne this October. Supposedly this is to be their final bout, but you never know.

Undertaker's Madison Square Garden return is his first match at the historic site since he thwarted Kane in September 2010. Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax in a non-title match is also announced for the card, as well as a three-way tussle between Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, and Finn Bálor for the Intercontinental Championship.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
