The Usos Pulled From WWE SummerSlam 2019 Signing Event Due To Legal Issues

Welcome to... well, not to Canada, that's for sure.

While they may busy on TV welcoming people to The Uso Penitentiary, it looks as if The Usos themselves will not be being welcomed to Toronto, Canada this weekend.

Courtesy of PWInsider, the brothers Uso have been pulled from their planned WWE SummerSlam Superstore signing that was due to take place this Saturday.

The reason for this is due to the pair’s previous run-ins with the law. In fact, Jimmy Uso has not even been allowed into Canada due to his DUI arrest last month.

As for Jey Uso, there’s no word yet on whether or not he’ll actually be in Toronto at some point over the weekend, but neither Uso will be making it to that Superstore session. Jey himself, of course, had a similar DUI situation in January 2018. And if Jimmy isn't going to be in Toronto, it would only seem reasonable that Jey won't be.

The Usos were not actually booked to compete at WWE SummerSlam this Sunday – in fact, right now the card has absolutely zero tag-team matches on it, period – but now WWE has made the call to scrap the twins’ planned meet ‘n’ greet signing session, too.

After the recent arrest of Jimmy – real name Jonathan Fatu – WWE released its generic “performer X is responsible for their own actions” public statement.

Now that said actions have had an affect on that performer’s ability to legally be allowed into a country housing one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year, maybe the company might think twice about how it handles such situations moving forward.
