TNA Slammiversary 2016: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

7. James Storm Vs. Braxton Sutter

Bobby Lashley Drew McIntyre
ImpactWrestling.com

Result: Storm drills Sutter with the Last Call for the easy win (6:41).

Rating: There were no surprises herem, either.

The pair wrestled a brief and unremarkable bout that exited the memory the second it was over. That said, Storm picking up the decisive win was a peculiar booking decision given the build for the match and the good it could've done for Sutter to win (or at least get incredibly close to doing so).

Perhaps there's yet more to come with this one, but it was an utterly average match with little imagination in terms of booking or in-ring storytelling. It just doesn't feel PPV-worthy in the slightest. 5/10
