TNA Weekly Review - 14/2/2013

TNA_Impact_Wrestling_0008 On Valentine's Day, there certainly is nothing better than inviting your best girl round, opening a nice bottle of champagne, and then watching a hard-hitting episode of Impact Wrestling. This week will see Aces & Eights' response to their defeat at the hands of Bully Ray-Hogan and Sting in tag team tables action. How will they seek retribution, and could it have anything to do with the upcoming Lockdown PPV? Furthermore, Hulk Hogan announced that there would be a tournament to determine the next challenger to Jeff Hardy for the World Championship, as eight of Impact Wrestling's very best will go one-on-one to determine who will be the new No.1 Contender. With matches such as Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe and a match between the new TNA Tag Team Champions scheduled, it should be a wild night of fantastic wrestling back once again in jolly old England. So without further ado, let the reviewing commence.

TNA-Mania Is Running Wild In London

http://youtu.be/UO3MoKjaSuY With TNA kicking off with the General Manager Hulk Hogan, looking at the crowd this may be the largest crowd in TNA Impact history in the prestigious Wembley Arena - this just goes to show how far TNA has come in the last decade. There is a fantastic reception for Hogan as he enters the arena, and he responds to the fantastic noise that the crowd is giving the show so far. Hogan announces that with Lockdown coming up, he has eight hungry challengers in the back that want to compete for the World Championship at the PPV. They are Rob Van Dam, James Storm, Christopher Daniels, Magnus, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries. What a line up, and this promises some fantastic wrestling throughout this edition. Hogan will examine all the matches, and will make the final choice as to who should be the No.1 Contender. Hogan then considers the threat of Aces & Eights, and that they have issued a challenge to Hogan for the biggest match at the next PPV, Lethal Lockdown. For those that are new to TNA, this consists of a 4-on-4 battle with plenty of weapons, contained within a steel cage. Hogan announces the captain of Team TNA at the PPV, which of course the Icon Sting. Sting comes out to announce that tonight he will also be examining the roster tonight to recruit three more individuals to fly the flag for TNA.
