Tony Khan Reveals His Favourite WWE Match Ever
Which WWE match does the AEW President watch every single year?
Tony Khan has revealed exactly which WWE match is his favourite of all time.
Whilst speaking to Busted Open Radio, promoting AEW's upcoming Blood and Guts special on Wednesday night, AEW President Tony Khan confessed that he watches two particular matches back every year.
The first being the more recent of the two: Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs. The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution 2019. And the second being another all-time classic, this time from Vince McMahon's company: 'Macho Man' Randy Savage vs. Ricky 'The Dragon Steamboat at WrestleMania III.
Going into more detail as to why these two matches are his all-time favourite singles and tag team encounters, Khan said:
"Okay, there’s two matches I go back and watch every year. One is very recent; they’re completely different. One of them is Kenny Omega and Hangman Page vs. The Young Bucks, which to me is as good a tag match as I’ve seen.

The other is (Randy) Savage vs. (Ricky) Steamboat. I go back and watch it every year. They’re completely different; one has all the bells and whistles, one has less bells and whistles. They’re both perfect, one is my favorite tag team match, the other is my favorite singles match. So yeah; Hangman and Kenny vs. the Young Bucks and Savage and Steamboat."
It's hard to argue with either of Khan's choices here, with the AEW World Tag Team Championship match at Revolution 2019 being considered an instant classic from the moment the bout ended and Savage/Steamboat still sitting as one of the out-and-out best singles matches ever after 30+ years.
