Triple H Takes The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

HHH is in a charitable mood.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHXaXBAh3m4 Triple H and WWE released a video today of the COO and superstar taking the "Ice Bucket Challenge." The challenge is a tool used to help serve ALS charities and raise awareness for the disease. ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is progressive neurodegenerative disease that impacts nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The disease gradually makes it difficult for sufferers to walk and communicate verbally. The challenge has went viral and was originally the brainchild of former college athlete Pete Frates, who has battled the disease since 2012. Triple H was challenged by Pittsburgh Steelers star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who also challenged comedian Kevin Hart and broadcaster Merril Hoge. Triple H would go on to challenge Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon who he referred to as "the craziest person he knows." Upon completing the challenge, Triple H also performed his signature water spit. Tons of celebrities and athletes have participated in the charitable challenge, including UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and former WWE Champion the Rock. The Today show ran the challenge live this week while host Hoda Kotb answered the challenge. President Barack Obama was nominated to participate but reportedly donated a large sum of money instead.
