The Undertaker: 7 Candidates For His Retirement Match

The Undertaker's been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 30. That's not a surprise because that's what has happened the past few years although he did work some more shows after WrestleMania 29 last year. This year's a different story because of the serious concussion he suffered in his WM30 match against Brock Lesnar. There was a recent report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that said he's still not fully recovered and that people within WWE have no idea if he'll wrestle again. Now that his undefeated streak at WrestleMania is over (thanks for the reminder, Paul Heyman) they can't shove "The Streak" down our throats any more. What WWE will likely do, assuming Undertaker can wrestle again, is make a big deal out of his retirement match. It's possible that the match could take place in two years at WrestleMania 32 because it's likely taking place in Dallas, Texas, which is close to where he lives. The appeal of that show is they can probably get 90,000 to 100,000 people in the stadium because it's one of the biggest facilities in America. However, it's not like Undertaker has ever been a guy that promos about where he's from so to the average fan that doesn't matter. Next year's WrestleMania takes place on March 29, 2015. Undertaker turns 50 years old four days earlier. Who might he face if he decides to have one more match? Here's a list of seven candidates.
