The Undertaker Vs Bray Wyatt Planned For WrestleMania 31

WWE will put The Phenom against The Eater Of Worlds.

WWE's booking plan for WrestleMania 31 involves The Undertaker versus Bray Wyatt, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. This plan is still dependant on The Undertaker saying he is able to wrestle on the show, which is a decision he'll make in due course. Even if he can't wrestle, he'll be featuring on the March 29th supershow in some form - hence why he has started to appear on Mania advertising. There could also be the possibility of a Hall Of Fame induction if Taker is indeed retiring, although it is thought that he is targeting a match for WrestleMania 32 at the 100,000 capacity Cowboys Stadium. That would set the all time attendance record for WWE and is in Taker's home state Texas, so don't expect the 49 year old to retire this year unless he really has to. The booking of Undertaker against Bray Wyatt is interesting. The more obvious money match was Sting Vs Undertaker, so WWE's booking decision to do something else shows a real lack of faith in the ability of 49 year old Taker and 55 year old Sting. Management obviously decided that both men were too old to put on a decent match against each other. Instead, Sting will match with Triple H, with the idea that Hunter can carry the action. The same logic is applied to Wyatt, he'll be expected to carry the action with Taker. Both should be good matches, as Bray and Hunter really are bright workers in the ring. The character dynamics should also work well for Wyatt vs Undertaker. You have a dark heel going up against a demonic legend; it should lead to many engaging angles in the run up to the big event.
