Update On How Vince McMahon Has Been During WWE's ThunderDome Era
How has McMahon been interacting with talent since WWE moved to the ThunderDome in Orlando?
Fightful Select are reporting that WWE boss Vince McMahon "hasn't been around any more than usual" since the company moved key programming to the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
The site claims that McMahon was largely holed up in his office when shows were held at the Performance Center. That, aside from a few appearances at the Gorilla Position and on screen (like during The Undertaker's "final farewell" at Survivor Series last Sunday) hasn't really changed.
It is interesting that Vince had appeared to limit his attendance for SmackDown before WWE made the call to hold programming at the PC earlier this year. Some fans may recall reports that McMahon was posted missing for some of the blue brand's output.
Now, he's an ever-present, albeit from the comfort of his office and just behind the curtain.
This hasn't altered how the notoriously hands on leader interacts with talent though. McMahon is still very much in charge, and enjoys day-to-day rapport with some of WWE's top stars. The boss is back in the hot seat at Gorilla too, which suggests he still relishes the task of directing traffic.
