Update On Nia Jax's Injury Status After WWE Raw
Jax was busted open after suffering a horrible cut on this week's WWE Raw.
Nia Jax required stitches after suffering a cut while wrestling Rhea Ripley on this week's episode of WWE Raw.
The former Women's Tag Team Champion uploaded a clip of her being tended to to her Instagram story earlier in the week. This has since disappeared from Instagram, such is the nature of the stories feature, but it has been preserved here.
Nia's face was left coated in claret for much of her bout with Ripley, with the cut occurring when her opponent was fighting out of an attempted powerbomb. Jax finished the match without interruption and even appeared to wave away the referee's assistance at one point.
There is currently no word on whether or not Jax will be forced to miss any time as a result of the cut.
A failed Shayna Baszler distraction led to the Raw finish. Attempting to assist her tag partner, Baszler hopped on the apron. Though she initially caught Ripley's attention, the Australian dodged Jax's attempted charge, then finished her off.
Jax and Baszler teased tension after the bell, arguing over the outcome, with Shayna readying herself for a fight by removing her jacket. Instead of throwing fists, Baszler left the ring.
