Update On Ryback Leaving WWE

The Big Guy will be out for awhile as he deals with an injury.

Yesterday, we reported that Ryback had again been cryptically tweeting. This time, the Big Guy said he€™d be leaving the WWE for awhile in order to get a few things fixed. As per usual with Ryback, the tweet was deleted shortly after. Now, in an update to that story, it€™s being reported that Ryback has suffered an injury which will cause him to spend some time away from the company. The injury was announced on last night€™s Network-exclusive live broadcast of Main Event. During a backstage segment between Adam Rose and Ryback€™s tag partner, Curtis Axel, Rose stated that he was sorry to hear about the injury. Michael Cole then confirmed to the audience at home that Ryback will be out for a few weeks. Many things are still unclear at this time, despite the comments from Rose and Cole. No one is quite sure why Ryback tweeted about having to leave and then swiftly deleted it -- although that can probably be chalked up to the Big Guy€™s own eccentric nature. Furthermore, as an official statement has yet to be made, it€™s unknown what the injury is or how long Ryback will be out for exactly. As mentioned, Michael Cole did tell viewers that Ryback would be out for a few weeks. Therefore, it would seem, at this time, that the Big Guy€™s injury may not be anything too serious and that he simply needs some time off, in order to rest and recovery. Hopefully, Ryback is able to heal fully and quickly before returning to a WWE ring in the near future. Furthermore, Curtis Axel is surely hoping for the Big Guy€™s return as well, as the duo make for an entertaining tag team. We€™ll be sure to update you on Ryback€™s injury, recovery time, and status as more information becomes available.
