PWInsider is reporting that six-time WWE Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz are on their way back to the company - according to the site, it's more a matter of "when" than "if."

In what will come as a disappointment to fans of the "Broken" gimmick that the stars recently exhibited in TNA, though, WWE is reportedly only interest in Matt and Jeff - Reby Sky and Señor Benjamin will not be joining the company with them.

The current sticking point that's preventing the deal from getting signed regards scheduling. The Hardy Boyz want to work a reduced schedule this late in their careers (Matt is 42, Jeff is 39), but WWE has been reluctant as of late to sign performers to those sorts of deals - Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg notwithstanding. Still, it's expected that the deal with go through and The Hardyz will be in WWE.

Last month, The Hardy Boyz failed to reach a new contract agreement with TNA, making them the hottest free agents in wrestling. Though WWE has major interest in them, their "Expedition of Gold" has first taken them to Ring of Honor, where the team has captured the ROH World Tag Team Titles.
