WWE Hell In A Cell doesn't take place until 8 October, but we already know the main event. Last night's SmackDown confirmed that Shinsuke Nakamura will challenge for Jinder Mahal's WWE Championship on the blue brand's next pay-per-view, having defeated Randy Orton in a number one contender's match on Tuesday.

It was a first-time meeting between 'The Viper' and 'The King Of Strong Style', and while Orton threatened his opponent with multiple RKO attempts, he ultimately fell to a Kinshasa. Jinder and the Singh Brothers watched the match unfold from an executive box, but didn't get involved.

'The Modern Day Maharaja' last wrestled his new number one contender at SummerSlam, and triumphed through interference from the Singhs. There's no word on whether their rematch will actually take place inside HIAC, but it seems likely, given the how frequently Jinder's henchmen involve themselves in his matches.

WWE should reveal more of the lineup besides this single match on next week's SmackDown, which is already stacked with three big title matches, and Vince McMahon's return to address the issues between his son Shane and Kevin Owens.
