USA Network BOTCHED Last Night's WWE Raw Ending

If you thought last night's Raw ended abruptly, it's because it did...

AJ Styles Raw Ending botch

A botched ending blighted what was an otherwise solid episode of Monday Night Raw yesterday evening, but WWE weren't the ones at fault.

USA Network took the show off the air as it was still playing out. United States Champion Rey Mysterio had just defeated AJ Styles in the night's main event, defending his strap when Randy Orton appeared to distract 'The Phenomenal One.' Curiously, the copyright logo appeared in the bottom right corner while the bout was still underway, with Mysterio cradling AJ into the match-winning pinfall seconds later.

The feed then cut at 11pm on the dot, with the announcers still talking about Mysterio's victory. This meant that USA Network viewers missed a shocked Styles rolling around the ring as Orton mocked him from the ramp.

WWE have uploaded how the show should have ended to Twitter:-

Per Sports Entertainment Scoops, the botched Styles Clash that Rey countered for the victory contributed to Raw running short, with USA not granting the promotion their usual overrun.

Not a great look for either party, but a decent episode of Raw nonetheless. Here's hoping this rare error isn't repeated in the future.
