WWE conference calls often bring out many interesting tidbits of information, and the first quarters earnings call for 2016 was no different. Along with all the usual notes on income and, well, earnings Vince McMahon confirmed that four of the biggest casualties of WWE's injury curse will be returning to WWE TV within one month. The Chairman of the Board also confirmed that there will be more talents making the jump to the main roster in the near future.

John Cena has already tweeted about his return (May 30th), but Vince confirmed that Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt will also be back in action sooner rather than later. These were arguably the four biggest names sidelined, and their return to our screens throws up a whole host of creative possibilities.

Whilst many are already lamenting John Cena's inevitable victory over Rusev on Memorial Day, the paths for Rollins and Wyatt in particular are less clear. The former WWE Champion is likely to get a more than positive reaction on returning, and how he is positioned with regards to former Shield brethren Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose will be particularly interesting.

As for Wyatt, hopefully WWE sees the major babyface potential he showed before picking up the injury, otherwise it'll be interrupting a promo for a meandering feud for the Eater of Worlds.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
