Vince McMahon Considering Randy Orton Firing, Suspension Costing $200,000

Randy Orton's 60 day suspension will cost him at least $200,000 in wages and bonuses, more if he misses WWE SummerSlam in August.

Randy Orton's 60 day suspension will cost him at least $200,000 in wages and bonuses, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. If Vince McMahon decides to punish him further and keep him off television for several more weeks and off August's WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view card, he will lose somewhere in the region of $275,000. As reported by SuperLucha earlier in the week, Orton's suspension reportedly came when he tested positive for Dianabol, though there's a lot of superstars in the company who doubt these claims but are staying tight-lipped about the situation. McMahon himself has spent the last week going back and forth on Orton's future and has seriously considered firing the second biggest star in his company. The general feeling is Orton is too valuable to be fired and WWE are struggling for major stars as it is, however there is a growing voice in the company saying that Orton can't be trusted for long term storylines as he is prone to failing the WWE Wellness Policy. Orton's suspension will run out on July 29th, meaning he misses the 1,000th RAW in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. He will however be eligible for the July 30th RAW the week after. However Orton actually claims his suspension will end two days earlier on Friday, July 27th. He also said two interesting things on Twitter. When asked if he would come back as a heel rather than a babyface, he said; "we can only pray." He also suggested that his suspension isn't for what is being reported;
"When I'm able to tell you, I will. Until then, don't believe everything you read!"
