In news that will surprise absolutely nobody with a grasp on the WWE Chairman's preferences when it comes to professional wrestling, it sounds like Vince McMahon is very, very high on Lacey Evans.
This is according to a new report from WrestlingNews.co. They claim that the big man views 'The Sassy Southern Belle' as the next top-level star in his company's women's division, with her perceived ability to carry herself like a star in media appearances (thanks to her background in the Marine Corps) the reported reason. McMahon is also impressed with Evans' backstage conduct within WWE.
An interesting piece of reporting here, given that Lacey has just lost a feud with Natalya following a Last Woman Standing match on the latest episode of Raw. She has also failed to wrest the Raw Women's Championship from Becky Lynch's clutches on multiple occasions this year.
Evans was WWE's 12th overall pick in the 2019 draft, moving from Raw to SmackDown where she'll participate in a division that only comprises of her and Sasha Banks at the moment. New SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley will likely remain on the blue brand as well, though.
