Fresh off announcing that Jay Lethal will defend the Ring of Honor World Championship against Noam Dar at their first show, What Culture Pro Wrestling (WCPW) have announced another addition to the roster.

The addition comes all the way from Los Sanchos, Mexico, in the form of El Ligero, a 15-year pro who has wrestled all over the world in countries as varied as the United States of America, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland and many more.

Anyone familiar with the British wrestling scene will be familiar with the Mexican Sensation, as he is one of the hardest working men in the entire industry. Whilst his opponent for the opening WCPW show is yet to be announced, the list of men Ligero has faced in his career to date is impressive to say the least, with Ultimo Dragon, El Generico, Super Crazy and Akira Tozawa just four of a laundry list of names.

Tickets are still available for the first WCPW show on June 15th but the chances are they won't be for much longer, so head to wc.pw whilst they are still available.

With less than two weeks to go more roster announcements can be expected in the build-up to the two shows in Newcastle, with more exciting names sure to follow Ligero, Rampage, Lethal and Dar.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
