Unsurprisingly, last night's WWE Raw broadcast ended chaotically. The ongoing rivalry between Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has been characterised by wanton violence, and that's exactly what the night's Last Man Standing main event delivered.

Strowman overcame Reigns, but his victory came through Joe's interference. With Braun down, Joe jumped Roman from behind and locked him in the Coquina Clutch, allowing Strowman to rise to his feet and claim the win.

The broadcast closed with Joe turning his gaze back to the ring as Braun celebrated, but the duo had some afters. There was no dark main event this week, and instead, the staredown lingered, with Braun eventually telling the audience that he'd become the next WWE Universal Champion at SummerSlam.

Reigns seemingly sold Joe's attack on the ramp throughout all of this, but Lesnar was nowhere to be seen, having obliterated The Miztourage earlier in the evening. Not the most eventful post-show segment, but one that's faithful to the hatred between everyone in the feud.

The four men will fight for the Universal Title at SummerSlam, with Lesnar threatening to leave (as part of the storyline) in the event of a loss.
