What Happened After Last Night's WWE Raw Went Off The Air?

Great video of WWE stars meeting cancer survivor at ringside of Memphis Raw event.

Following this week's Raw, John Cena and Sting ended the night celebrating with seven year old cancer survivor Kiara Grindrod. This happened moments after Cena and Sting teamed for the first time ever to beat Seth Rollins and Big Show. During the Raw broadcast, they mentioned that Kiara (who was wearing a John Cena shirt) recently found out she survived her cancer scare and showed her on camera with her dad. She received a huge ovation from the crowd. WWE posted the post-Raw video with Cena congratulating Kiara for beating her battle against cancer. When Cena announced that Kiara was a survivor the crowd chanted "yes" for her. It was pretty awesome to see that smile on her face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P4fKTJtc5g Cena gave her a big hug and Sting did too. Cena gave her his armband while Sting gave her one of his gloves. Kiara looked so happy meeting these two legends and it was a nice reminder of what the wrestling business (or sports entertainment) is all about. The fans in Memphis chanted "This is awesome" for this moment that young Kiara and her family will never forget. Often times after Raw, WWE does a dark match for the local fans where the good guys get the win to send the fans home happy. This week, they went for something different and after watching that video it's easy to see why.
