Who Is The Mastermind Behind Sasha Banks' New Heel WWE Character?

The OLD Boss swaggered back onto WWE television two weeks ago.

Little over two weeks have passed since Sasha Banks made what will go down as one of 2019's most impactful WWE returns, blindsiding a grieving Natalya on the one-year anniversary of her father's death, before making an even bigger impact by laying Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch out with a steel chair.

It's the first time 'The Boss' has played her old heel character in years - and it seems like Paul Heyman has a big hand in the new direction.

This is according to Wade Keller of Pro Wrestling Torch, who claims that the new Raw Creative Director not only wrote Sasha's explanation promo from this week's Raw, but is also "very involved" in how Banks is presented.

Monday's show brought Sasha's promo, a decisive victory over the injured Natalya, and a post-match beatdown, continuing 'The Boss'' strong focus since returning. Nothing is confirmed yet, but there's a chance she and Lynch could collide at Clash of Champions on 15 September.

It has almost become too easy to credit Heyman for all the positive changes on Raw recently. Stories like this only make it easier, but long may Sasha's success as a heel continue.
