Why There's A Chance WWE Boss Vince McMahon COULD Attend Starrcast

Vince McMahon at Starrcast is like Conrad Thompson's WWE 'Holy Grail' - could it happen?

Conrad Thompson admits that Vince McMahon will never attend Starrcast so long as AEW are involved on the side, but the podcast guru hasn't given up hopes completely.

Thompson, who co-hosts popular pods with legends like Bruce Prichard, Eric Bischoff, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Arn Anderson, told Wrestling Inc that he could see McMahon get on board if the weekend was centred around a WWE event.

"Maybe".

WWE famously like having full autonomy over any events their brand is part of. This could mean that Conrad would have to give up control to Vince if he ever wants to see the 'sports entertainment' patriarch grace one of his conventions.

Thompson did add that he'd also have to "beg, borrow, kneel, and negotiate" with good buddy Prichard if he ever had a hope in hell of landing McMahon, but it's not the most outlandish thought. Pro wrestling throws up constant surprises, and Conrad knows it.

If he wanted to ditch AEW and tie in with WWE, then he might coax Vince on stage for a sensational Q&A. Imagine the scenes if the boss chucked in an encore edition of 'Stand Back' from the 1987 Slammy Awards.
