Wrestlemania 29 Live: Triple H Defeats Brock Lesnar

Triple H defeated Brock Lesnar following a well executed and exciting no hold barred brawl after smashing Lesnar with a Pedigree on top of the steel ring steps. The last time Lesnar appeared at Wrestlemania he was booed out of the building following a sloppy and boring 'dream match' against Bill Goldberg but tonight redeemed himself in the eyes of WWE fans all over the world. The match which saw interference from both Paul Heyman and The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels at various points looked like it could go either way with big bad Brock dominating throughout. In the final moments it looked like Hunter would make Lesnar submit to his own submission hold but Lesnar managed to power out time and time again. It was only when he tried to escape the Kimura Lock for a third time that Lesnar ended up causing himself to be slammed head first into the steel steps setting up Hunter to land a massive pedigree for the 1, 2, 3. A fantastic effort from both part time wrestlers. Everyone involved made Lesnar look like a psychotic monster and at times we really feared for Hunter's career. Where Brock goes from here remains to be seen. From a fans standpoint WWE did a terrible job of disguising the communication going on between Lesnar and Triple H who was overheard several times instructing Brock what to do next. WWE really shouldn't make mistakes like this after so many years producing live events especially on a show as huge as Wrestlemania.
