WWE: 10 Best "Worked Shoot" Promos Ever

4. Paul Heyman On Vince McMahon

A rare highlight of the fumbled Invasion storyline was Paul Heyman's worked shoot on Vince McMahon. Seemingly speaking from the heart, Paul talked about the WWF sucking, saying that Vince McMahon had lost his mind. "The WWF is imploding from within [...] Vince's concepts are antiquated," Paul claimed. The shoot went on to make a personal comment about the XFL, leading to Vince himself coming to the ring. With conviction and passion, Paul tells Vince that he "hates his stinking guts." The ECW Mad Professor goes on to tell Vince how he ruined wrestler's dreams and how he stabbed his father in the back after he died when he turned on the territories. Heyman then laments Vince for stealing all of his ideas and bleeding ECW dry, pointing out that Steve Austin drank his first beer in ECW while Gene Okerlund was bouncing around singing Tutti Fruity in WWF. Vince's company never had attitude €“ it just ripped off Paul Heyman's ideas. What really made this promo fantastic wasn't just the truth that Paul put into it, but the belief and passion he put in. In Paul's mind, it was all real.
