WWE: 10 Most Over Done Angles Ruining Wrestling Right Now

RAW Post Show Cena The overriding thought I had when watching WWE Raw this week was "Wow, this is exactly the same show I was watching 10 years ago... but nowhere near as good". Formulaic programming is a curse of the television industry in general. Take a look at some of the biggest commercial successes such as American Idol or The Apprentice. They do the same spots over and over again. WWE Raw is no different. The content is excruciatingly similar to the same creative concepts WWE has used for over two decades in some cases. The big problem is this €“ Raw is a three hour show. I could perhaps handle the regurgitation of creativity in a two hour show, but over three hours it is a draining process. It is difficult to fully state it as a bad thing all this repetition. After all, Vince McMahon just needs to pull his accountant out to show that it works. But as CM Punk once stated, "Vince McMahon's going to make money in spite of himself. He's a millionaire who should be a billionaire". There are a ton of over done angles making WWE loathsome right now. We have narrowed it down to 10, some big ones, some more subtle annoyances. Honourable mention ... The Daniel Bryan Kidnap Angle. Always a favourite of WWE's creative staff, and always ridiculous. How can any self-respecting person seriously buy into the fact that Bray Wyatt kidnapped Daniel Bryan this past week? WWE even tried to sell it by having Brie Bella say she hadn't heard from Bryan and was really upset. The conclusion sucked even badder than the inception, Bryan was supposedly dumped in a car park and then simply returned to Raw this week like nothing happened. It's a terrible angle yet WWE have ran it so many times over the years. We've had Undertaker kidnapping Teddy Long, The Dudleys kidnapping Paul Bearer ... even Kurt Angle kidnapping and blindfolding Stone Cold Steve Austin. A silly angle they need to stop doing.
