WWE: 10 Gimmicks That Should Have Failed (But Didn't)

goldust For years now they've been with us. From the Golden Era to the Modern and everywhere in between. We all tend to roll our eyes a little when we see them. Their goofy make up and god awful fashion has physically made us wince. So many wrestlers have been given gimmicks that seemed destined to flounder and fail. Yet there has been a select few that had the right mindset, the right amount of skill and the right amount of determination to not only make their gimmicks work but make them succeed. They make us forget that we ever dared to laugh at them to begin with. Turning us from mocking spectators to die hard fans. We've watched them. We've cheered for them and in the end we're glad that they were there. Some of them becoming so deeply woven into our lives that we truly couldn't imagine a WWE without them. From talking heads to smashing guitars come take a seat as we count them down to see which superstar took their gimmick and ran with it, all the way to immortality.
