WWE: 10 Great Wrestlers Who Are Now Retired

6. Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus Ok, since retiring from WWE she came back and made a couple of in ring showings. But this list needed a womens wrestler, and no over woman can claim to be a greater retired womens wrestler. And she really is retired from the ring for life now after recently becoming a Mum and expanding her business ventures in fitness. Trish was just excellent, the role model for what a womens wrestler should be - an attractive lady who can wrestle. Now, some may find that shallow, but don't kid yourself, looks do matter. Wrestling is entertainment dominated by a young male demograph, WWE should be looking to present women wrestlers who are attractive. It isn't real sport, it is entertainment, and some eye candy is good for the product. But Trish was way more than just the best looking woman in WWE history. She worked her ass off to become the best womens wrestler in the company, moving with agility and skill that made her a true main eventer. Stratus retired in 2006 as womens champion, winning the belt from great rival Lita with a sharpshooter in an excellent match in her hometown of Toronto. She remains the benchmark for what a womens wrestler should be.
