When it comes to WWE, there's no denying that whenever the greatest time periods in the company's history is discussed, it's inevitably based on either Rock 'n' Wrestling in the 1980s or the Attitude Era in the late 1990s. Of course, the characters in their prime, such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin were what made these time periods so great. But what about since then? There's no denying that WWE has been on a downturn since the Attitude Era ended, desperately trying to recapture the magic of that time period again. In fact, I feel that it's only recently that WWE have finally accepted that their popularity during that time is truly a thing of the past and they have moved on somewhat. We are now seeing the emergence of new characters and stories, thus signifying the possible end of what I like to call, the 'Brand Era'. So, just who exactly made WWE tick during these last thirteen years?
