WWE: 10 Matches WrestleMania 30 Could Set Up For WrestleMania 31

WrestleMania 30 could prove fertile ground to sow the seeds for a big main event at WrestleMania 31. One of the best moves WWE made in the last decade was when they established The Rock vs John Cena a year before Mania 28, facilitating the need for a match with Rock costing John Cena the title at Mania 27. The feud was established and the next night on Raw it was made official, Rock and Cena would meet a year down the line. It proved to be a genius piece of creative and business - WWE ended up with the highest grossing PPV event in pro-wrestling history for WrestleMania 28. This year they may be looking to run a similar sort of angle. There are several big names in New Orleans right now, all with the intention of stealing the limelight for themselves at WrestleMania 30. Have they come in just for the occasion, or more likely are they there to set up a big angle for WrestleMania 31? Even on the full time WWE roster there are talent who could be doing an angle tonight to establish a feud that will play out over the next year. Vince McMahon seen the benefits of long term booking with the Mania 28 buyrate, and he has also seen the damaging effect of short term booking with much of the drama that has gone on the last few months. Surely the WWE are going to do something tonight which will repeat the successful formula used a few years ago.
