WWE: 10 Reasons WCW Should Return In 2014

10. Perfect Timing As Rumoured Hogan, Goldberg & Sting Wrestlemania 30 Deals Are Discussed

Goldberg Vince McMahon did try and incorporate WCW into WWF with limited success upon first acquiring WCW in 2001. Vince ran what should have been one of the greatest angles of all time, Two wrestling companies going to war. The 'Invasion' angle was an absolute disaster however. McMahon did run shows and matches under the WCW banner, but the whole time he had his WWF talent basically beat the crap out of the WCW brand. Within months of trying to run both WCW and WWF brands, Vince killed the Invasion angle and made everything and everybody the WWF. It was a huge missed opportunity. A lot of the reasons for that initial disaster was that Vince didn't have the right people in to represent WCW. Deals for WCW's three biggest names never got done, it would be 2002 before Hogan came in to WWE, 2003 before Goldberg got on board, and Sting to this day has never done a WWE deal. The WCW angle failed because McMahon didn't have the right WCW talent to promote. Instead WCW was represented by the likes of Buff Bagwell invading WWF. All that could be about to change. All three WCW legends, Hogan, Sting and Goldberg are rumoured to be about to do WWE deals to appear at Wrestlemania 30. It could be the perfect opportunity for Vince to relaunch a WCW nostalgia revival. The money ideas would be to bring all three men in first of all as singles stars. Have Hogan face Cena at Wrestlemania 30, Sting battle Taker and Goldberg clash with Ryback. The next night after Wrestlemania the WWE usually runs a big angle (Lesnar comeback, Ziggler cash in), and the WCW revival could be the one to do in 2014. Imagine Hogan, Goldberg and Sting coming down the ramp the night after Wrestlemania 30 and announcing ... "WCW is back!"
