The youngest son of the legendary Gory Guerrero (patriarch of the even-more-legendary Guerrero wrestling family), Eddie Guerrero grew up in and around the wrestling business. From an early age, he absorbed the best (and worst) of wrestling via a mixture of pure osmosis and prodigious talent. His style was graceful, polished and compellingly Machiavellian, but also totally unique. As a performer (neither wrestlers nor fans should ever be disdainful of that word), Eddie made us laugh and Eddie made us cry, but, most importantly, Eddie Guerrero made us believe in the magic of Professional wrestling like no one else before or since.
