WWE: 13 Worst Ever Tag Team Gimmicks In Wrestling History

11. Well Dunn

People are quick to mock wrestling, and for fans that can be hard, but unfortunately, when there are teams like Well Dunn it's all too easy to be mocked. Before their appearance in WWE they were a successful team, winning the Tag Team Championships in the USWA, WWC, and NWA Pacific North West, wrestling under the names Rex King and Steve Doll, so there was some pedigree there to note. When they appeared in WWF they had been renamed Timothy Well and Steve Dunn, named together as a team Well Dunn, because fans love a simple play on words apparently. But even by professional wrestling standards that is a corny name, which seems to have been the only reason for the gimmick to exist. Well Dunn would not be a cool name in any situation, there's no cool element, there's no bad-ass imagery, it's just a comic name that lasts all of three seconds. It didn't end there for Well Dunn; as if it wasn't bad enough to have one of the lamest names in WWE history, they also had some of the worst outfits. Wearing a wrestling singlet with a thong over the top is already pretty horrendous, so why they chose to pair that with a bow ties is beyond comprehension. Ultimately, Well Dunn made little impact in the WWE, feuding mainly with The Bushwhackers, another team who came incredibly close to making this list of horrendous gimmicks.
