WWE: 19 Former Wrestlers Who Had Salaries You Won't Believe

18. Kevin Nash, $1,518,979 In WCW 1998

Big Sexy looked the part of a wrestling champion, but he rarely delivered the goods in the ring. He's a classic example of a savvy guy who benefited from the competition between the WWF and WCW. He was on less than $750,000 when headlining with Vince McMahon in the mid 90's, so he took a deal with WCW in 1996. In 1997 he earned $756,086 (boosted by merchandise) and that sum exploded to $1,518,979 in 1998. Nash had probably benefited from a clause in his contract that said he'd be second to only Hulk Hogan on the pay scale. When WCW signed Bret Hart in 1997, Eric Bischoff had to hand Big Sexy extra money.
