WWE: 20 Superstars You Need To Follow On Twitter

Wwe Twitter Pro Wrestling and the internet have gone hand in hand for nearly two decades now, ever since Dave Meltzer first popularised the web as a place to get the dirt on what was really going down in the WWF. From the moment that Meltzer unleashed the TRUE story of the Montreal Screwjob online in 1997 we've been hooked. It's almost as interesting to follow WWE these days for the backstage drama that leaks out online, often vastly more enthralling than the scripted drama taking place on television. In 2014 however a new wrestling internet sensation is taking place, interacting with our WWE heroes on Twitter! There are several WWE superstars who will tweet you back and retweet your support. Others in the locker room come out with hilarious jokes, while some post insider comments and pull the kayfabe curtain back somewhat. Following WWE superstars has became an absolute must for fans. So who are the best wrestlers to follow? Take a look at this QuickCulture list which will list the kings and queens of Tweeters from WWE past and present -

20. The Rock

How can you not want to follow The Rock? He's the biggest star ever in wrestling and also tweets about his Hollywood life. In addition to being a really interesting guy, he is also one of the most inspirational WWE tweeters. Take for example his tweets about 5AM gym sessions, they really get you feeling like you yourself should be hitting some exercise! His photo tweets are fun too, he once tweeted himself chomping the biggest pile of pancakes you will have ever seen. Will he interact with you? Absolutely, he tweeted me back personally last November! Follow him at https://twitter.com/TheRock

19. John Cena

If you followed Rock over the last few years then you had to be following John Cena too. The two men often threw twitter digs at each other built around their WWE feud at WrestleMania 28 and 29. The reason you should follow Cena in 2014 is to see just why this man really is the hardest worker in wrestling. One recent tweet detailed "Dinner @TheGarden breakfast at #SXSW Austin, late lunch in Jonesboro Arkansas, fall asleep in Memphis. As @steveaustinBSR says #razorsedge" Cena works his tail off and is always putting a shift in somewhere for WWE. Follow him at https://twitter.com/JohnCena

18. John Bradshaw Layfield

Following 'The Wrestling God' on Twitter was always going to be a blast ... Bradshaw is opinionated, hilarious and insightful all at the same. He is actually one of the most active WWE tweeters out there and despite his old school origins he is always exposing the truth of the business. One unintentionally hilarious thing about Bradshaw is he's always trying to fit in with European sport fans, he often tweets his opinions on European Soccer and British Rugby - but he regularly gets his facts wrong. It's funny to see and the most recent example was when he tweeted to say St Patrick's Day was Friday the 14th. Needless to say his Irish fans let him have it! 17. Lance Storm

One thing you will get from following Lance Storm on Twitter is an appreciation for how intelligent he is. Storm has a great mind for the wrestling business and his Twitter banter with the likes of industry insiders such as Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez makes for some insightful entertainment for us fans. Despite Storm's BORING gimmick on WWE television, he is in reality hilarious. His tweets are witty, often relating to stuff we are thinking ourselves during watching Raw or Smackdown.
