WWE: 5 Dream Matches That Never Happened (And Never Will)

5. John Cena vs. Hulk Hogan

cena hoganMatch Type: Single Match So many parallels can be, and have been, drawn between these two men. They are both the Superman-figure of their respective time in the WWE, they are both the centre of their WWE runs and both are the definition of their respective era. Hogan is the Federation Years as Cena is the PG-era. They both have a set moveset, they are a licence to print money off their image, children and women love them. But make no mistake there is no in-between area with them; You either love them, or you really hate them. All that aside, there are both the face of a generation in WWE. How interesting would it be to see both of these men wrestle a match at their physical peak? I would argue for this to be Hogan in the early 90's and Cena circa 2007. It would have everything a high profile WWE match requires: strong promos, mega-popular stars and a believable story. It would blow Rock vs. Hogan out of the water. This would have been a must-see match, for fans and haters alike. Cena is the man, like The Rock was. Hogan would again take the pin but neither would be diminished in the process. Winner: John Cena
