WWE: 5 Ways To Enhance Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan Feud

4. Michaels Should Be A Tweener, Not A Heel

shawn michaels Yes, I know, the idea of being a slave to the authority may seem mighty tempting, but the fact of the matter is that the crowd will boo Michaels anyway for how he got involved in the Hell in a Cell match. Michaels as an out-and-out heel will not work €“ the heat shouldn't be on him but rather on Triple H (I will come to that later) and there should be enough good will between him and Bryan to allow them to shake hands at the end of the match in order to put Bryan over even more. To do this requires a good set up of the feud. Bryan should be hell-bent on vengeance for what he sees as a (legitimate) theft of his championship by his former teacher. He should call Michaels a fraud for not respecting the business that built him into a superstar, and not respecting Bryan as a student and instead hiding behind the power of Triple H. Like the Game, Bryan could claim that Michaels is no longer the renegade who is out for the fans' best interest, but a relic who wants to look out for his own best interests. Michaels should take objection to this and simply tell Bryan that if he truly believes that he is the wrestler he think he is, then he should have no problem going up against a guy who has been retired for four years. Cue fireworks!
