WWE: 5 Ways To Make Randy Orton vs. Batista Work At WrestleMania 30

5. Turn Batista Heel Beforehand

Batista1 Fans have to believe the characters that they are watching in order to buy into them. At the moment, the fans cannot buy into Batista as a babyface - not to mention the fact that they don't want to - so they would be better off turning Batista heel. The Animal works much better as a heel as well, especially in the current landscape. This would intensify the negative reaction that Batista would get from the crowd. The more noise, the louder the reaction, the better. Where would that leave Orton? Of course, he's a heel as well, the fans might actually start getting behind him. It's 'cooler' for fans to cheer a heel than boo a babyface to victory, in my opinion. Obviously heel vs. heel matches don't work very well in general terms, but this match isn't really going to work too well anyway. With both being heels, they could both go all out to win, using underhand tactics, fighting dirty and so on. It could actually make for a more entertaining match. Would a scenario where Batista aligns himself with Triple H beforehand, on the Road to WrestleMania, and in turn, turning Orton babyface work? I doubt it, after all the cheating Orton has done since Summerslam, I can't see fans being too sympathetic. But they might well want Orton to win more than Batista in the end.
