WWE: 5 Ways Smarks Comments About John Cena Can Backfire

Now although the title of this article might infer otherwise, I am NOT a fan of John Cena, God no, no, NOOOO! In fact I could literally write a 10-20+ point article on how he is "everything that is wrong with professional wrestling today." But there are two reasons as to why I have chosen against this usual line of rhetoric that has already been widely remarked upon. First is that although I tend to agree with a lot of the sentiment that is prevalent among the "IWC," I feel that it has already been done to death and nothing I could really say would add anything new. The only thing I feel I could mention is that although Cena is a cash cow merchandise wise, I can't fathom how he can be classed such a success if he was the face of the WWE at a time when its popularity was at an all-time low (US ratings wise, I also post the same question about Triple H and present the arguments behind my rhetoric which you can read by clicking here.) My second reason as to why I will not be jumping on the hate bandwagon today as it seems that although I may agree with the sentiment, a VAST majority of you don't actually bring any arguments to back up your claims that Johnny boy is the root of all evil. Now, regardless of your opinions on my views that have been previously mentioned in other articles, it cannot be said that I haven't backed up my reasoning with some solid points of "non biased" informative references. Whereas a lot of you not only fail to provide but when it comes to smarks a lot of the reasoning behind their hate doesn't make any sense. Especially if you go off the general consensus of who they claim to be their personal favourite stars of a bygone era, some of whom they even use as their main reference points. This is why although my job tends to lump me in as a bonafide member, I do not consider myself part of the "IWC" as one of my detractors has fondly alluded to. As a majority of those out there in internet land seemingly hate John Cena and feel the need to tweet about it on a constant basis, for the exact same reasons they love their past favourites and general source for comparisons. These are the type of people that do nothing but harm to all aspect of professional wrestling, not just to the WWE and John Cena to which their anger is supposedly directed. They not only never usually offer any alternative theory on how the business can succeed in full but a majority of their arguments can be debunked with simple common sense. So if you have ever used the phrase "the WWE is crap, I haven't watched it in years," this is directed solely at you. As you obviously have absolutely no idea what you are talking about as that comment clearly indicates. If you haven't watched it in years, how do you know its crap and what gives you the right to critique if you don't watch it anymore? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNSZgbJsSxU Which is ironic as that is the only reason I went for my position here as contributor for this website was to set a few facts straight among those, the most ignorant of you (Don't believe me, read for yourself by clicking right here). In essence, YOU SMARKS CREATE ME! Like some misunderstood Frankenstein Monster. And just goes to prove why whether you love me or hate me, here are five examples based on your own arguments that is undeniable proof (all that I need anyway) it is you, the "smark," that is the problem with professional wrestling today.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
