WWE: 6 Divas That Must Return In 2014

3. Maryse

It can be argued that if you looked at every woman in the history of WWE, Maryse may be the most beautiful of them all. A natural beauty who had a successful modeling career prior to WWE, Maryse ended up going from a diva search contestant to a two time WWE Divas Champion. Her first reign, which began in December 2008, lasted for 216 days. It's the longest Divas Title reign in WWE history although AJ Lee is set to surpass within the next week. I don't blame Maryse for leaving WWE when she did or for them releasing her if that was the case (in the wrestling business you never really know). She wasn't being used properly by the creative team. They had her managing Ted Dibiase Jr., who was doing his gimmick as the Million Dollar Man's rich son, and it really wasn't working. The chemistry wasn't there. They also had her as a host on NXT, which was mostly a joke role that she didn't really take seriously. I can't say I blame her for that. Her post WWE career has seen her launch her own jewelry line, she routinely does appearances on weekends to meet her fans at signings all over America and has done some commentary work for indy promotions like Family Wrestling Entertainment. She hasn't wrestled much if at all since leaving WWE. In her personal life, Maryse is engaged to WWE Superstar The Miz. The wedding is set to take place in February. Both are pretty active on social media, so it's not that hard to find that out. I always thought they should be paired together on screen. The Miz comes across as an arrogant heel that the fans want to see get his ass kicked. Why not add his future wife to his act? He would have the hottest woman in the company on his arm and she could say how great he is. Instant heat. Makes sense to me. She'll turn 31 years old next week, so it's not like she is past her prime. She has many good years left in her should she have an interest in returning and if WWE would like to bring her back. I think it's a no brainer. It would allow her to travel with her soon to be husband while giving the WWE roster a veteran diva who can help grow the divas of tomorrow. I've always been a fan of this talented Canadian not just because she's gorgeous. She's loaded with talent and the kind of charisma you can't teach. I hope she can return home to WWE this year.
