WWE: 10 Biggest Victims Of Burial

The term €œburied€ is more common among WWE fans than ever, and is one of the main themes going into Wrestlemania 30. With Daniel Bryan€™s alleged burial now becoming its own storyline and the backlash of CM Punk now showing signs of burial onscreen, angry fans have turned to the internet to express their displeasure. Many fans have a tendency to overuse the term, however, with the result that any time a wrestler loses a match, cries of "they're burying him!" resound throughout the Internet Wrestling Community. That isn't to say that burial doesn't happen, far from it. WWE has buried it's stars as a form of punishment for years. Even Triple H himself, the king of the shovel, was buried by management for a full year for his part in the Madison Square Garden "Curtain Call". Many times Triple H has been accused of burying stars, such as Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Umaga and perhaps most notably CM Punk in 2011. But he is far from being the only guilty party. Here, we look at 10 wrestlers who were tipped for stardom, how they fell from grace, and wherever possible, why they were buried

Stephen Maher has been a rock star, a bouncer, a banker and a busker on various streets in various countries. He's hung out with Robert Plant, he was at Nelson Mandela's birthday and he's swapped stories with prostitutes and crack addicts. He once performed at a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by accident. These days, he passes the time by writing about music, wrestling, games and other forms of nerdery. And he rarely drinks the blood of the innocent.
