WWE: 8 Most Wildly Dangerous Stunts You Won't Believe Wrestlers Performed

7. Shane McMahon vs. Steve Blackman, Summerslam 2000 - Shane McMahon Falls From The Titantron

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nMp4Z51-nE Shane McMahon, as the once potential owner of WWE, did not ever need to put his body on the line. However, he seemingly sought out bigger and bigger risks, even including himself in Hardcore title matches against Steve Blackman. During the match, McMahon attempted to run away from Blackman and scaled the side of the Summerslam set, reaching heights above the Titantron. Blackman gave chase and whacked Shane with a kendo stick in the back, leaving the younger McMahon teetering dangerously. A final crack of the stick sent Shane plummeting almost 50 feet to the ground while the crowd screamed in terror. While his fall obviously was broken by a crash pad, the fact that a person like Shane McMahon would take such a stuntman risk is absolutely mind-boggling. This would not be the last time that Shane took a risk like this. He followed his swan dive off of the Titantron with a flying elbow from the screen onto the Big Show a few months later. Continuing the trend, he also had a memorable match with Kurt Angle at King of the Ring 2001 where he was slammed through glass and received a concussion. Shane established himself as one of the biggest risk-takers in the company despite never being formally trained at a wrestling school. His high-risk activities have earned him a place in wrestling fan's hearts and minds for years to come.
