Professional Westling has long mined other forms of entertainment for creative ideas: wrestlers have looked to movies, music and to a lesser extent video games for character inspiration, and in the case of the latter, it's not difficult to see why. After all, video games have larger than life colourful characters and that is what pro wrestling is all about. Videogames, more specifically fighting games have come up with great characters influenced from pro wrestling like King from Tekken, Wolf Hawkfield from Virtua Fighter and Mike Haggar from Final Fight. It seems like wrestling hasn't quite took the inspiration from games that games have taken from professional wrestling just yet, but there are still a number of performers who have looked to videogames for creative character ideas. To celebrate those suspiciously familiar gimmicks, we're running down the talents who probably took a little too much inspiration from their games consoles...
