WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 3)

As bad as this week was... the scary thing is how much worse it could get soon.

Impact Cancelled It was a rough week in professional wrestling, probably worse than most people were expecting. It was the financial equivalent of Chyna vs. X-Pac in a tickle fight. The two major companies in the United States both received some bad news, and not the fun kind like Wade Barrett delivers. The next few weeks could be a scary time, and some hard-working people are now out of a job with perhaps more to follow. Well, let€™s look on the bright side for a moment, at least we had a miniature bull hitting a man in the groin! That€™s always good for a laugh! In other news, Cesaro traded in his tornado siren theme song opening noise for an ambulance one, The Hardy Boyz teamed up on TV for the first time in three years and TNA also gave away a visual spoiler on-air of Dixie Carter going through a table next week. Perhaps they were becoming uncomfortable with the slight ratings increase lately and wanted less viewers. Well, with that out of the way it€™s time to take a look back over the past seven days and uncover some uncomfortable truths. Let€™s not waste anymore time, it€™s time to stand up straight, put your hand over your heart and in a loud, clear voice say €œworst of the week!€ Or you don€™t have to do that. Whatever.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
