WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Feb 1)

The Rumble Came. It Reigned. We Cried.

WWE fans are not happy. The company, however, seems pretty pleased with themselves as they hit a million subscribers for their network. They€™re giving themselves the old Barry Horowitz pat on the back. So basically, the lesson from the 2014 Batista Rumble bomb has not been learned. The company is going with the strange promoting tactic of purposefully pissing off their fans once a year. It€™s like an employee at McDonald€™s randomly kicking you in the stomach, and then maybe making up for it with a free McFlurry. In other wrestling news, Raw€™s live arena show was cancelled on Monday, Emma got demoted back to NXT and some random magician that 99% of the population has never heard of showed up on SmackDown. It€™s quite amazing that the second that magic man hit The Miz over the head with an egg R-Truth said €œThe yolks on you!€ It€™s almost like that bad pun was written beforehand, and the only reason he was standing there in that segment is so he could deliver that line. There€™s so much to cover in WWE, that TNA is getting a pass this week. Sure, Magnus looked foolish for getting lost in a bar, and Abyss landed on thumbtacks for the 10,000th time for no good reason, but WWE did an extremely good job of infuriating their own fanbase. So hold onto that top rope as we rumble our way through the worst wrestling moments of the week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
