WWE SummerSlam 2015 Will Be 4 Hours Long

An extra hour added to make it the biggest SummerSlam ever.

This year's SummerSlam will be the biggest ever because it's going to be a four hour long event for the first time. Taking place from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, a one hour Kickoff-Show starts at 6pmET, with SummerSlam opening at 7pmET for the four hour show. The extended SummerSlam event was pushed during Raw when Triple H opened with a promo and several times throughout the show it was being plugged as the "biggest SummerSlam ever." Prior to this, WWE only made WrestleMania a four hour event, but with the advantage of having the Network to dictate their own time and a stacked roster with the additions of part-timers Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and Sting involved in matches, it's easy to see why they wanted to add the extra hour for WWE's second biggest night of the year.
The main event match will see Brock Lesnar take on The Undertaker in a huge rematch from WrestleMania 30. It's the only match that's officially advertised for the event following Monday's Raw, although there are likely going to be eight or nine matches on the card.
