This is the second rebrand for some of these superstars.

The eraser is out yet again down in Full Sail, as WWE have once more changed the names of a slew of NXT superstars.

In fact, it's the second time a few of these have went into the brand blender. Stokely Hathaway, who this May was rechristened Malcolm Bivens, will henceforth be known as Courtenay Moore - a reversion to his original NXT name 'Court Moore'.

Likewise, Robbie Strauss, who had been managing under the guise 'Robbie E', is to become Robert Stone.

Rachel Evers, 3.0's Scott Parker & Shane Matthews, and MJ Jenkins will all assume their real names, Rachel Ellering, Jeffrey Parker & Matthew Menard-Lee, and Monique Jenkins respectively.

Finally, Brennan Williams will go by Dio Maddin, Dan Matha has become Dorian Mak, and Nick Comoroto is rebirthed as Nick Ogarelli.

We can only presume, such is the rate of renaming down in NXT at the moment, that WWE paid a pretty penny for some name-generating software and are determined to get the absolute most out of it.

Expect some of these to change once again in the next few weeks.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
