WWE Considering Matt Hardy And Jeff Hardy Returns

Based on the popularity of The Dudley return, could we now get a Hardy Boyz comeback?

WWE are considering Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy for returns. This is based off of the positive reaction to The Dudley Boyz comeback, and the lucrative business that nostalgia generates in pro wrestling. WWE are currently looking for feedback to the idea on social media. However, there is an issue of Matt and Jeff being volatile. Both have proved unreliable in the past, especially Jeff. There's also a long list of health problems, criminal incidents, and bad mouthing of WWE. The company would have to allow a fair bit of forgiveness, but it isn't as if fall-outs ever got in the way of Vince McMahon doing business. Any comeback would be as The Hardy Boyz, and would involve matches in the tag team scene. It could be fun to see The Hardy Boyz versus The Dudley Boyz again, and it would be even more fun if they went against the New Day. Jeff as a singles star was huge in 2009 for WWE, but that career peak has long since passed. He could become a top selling merchandise name again, and have some level of singles success, but another WWE Title run is unlikely. As for Matt, his only real value is in the tag scene. He was never a star at singles level.
