WWE Crown Inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions At Elimination Chamber 2019

Who left the Elimination Chamber as champs?

Bayley Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks and Bayley have been crowned the inaugural women's tag team champions following a thrilling match at Elimination Chamber.

The Boss 'N' Hug Connection overcame incredible odds to become the first ever tag champs, starting as one of the first teams in the match and running the gauntlet before finally eliminating fellow opening pair Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville to claim the gold.

The first match on the main card of the pay-per-view did not disappoint, with Rose and Deville putting in stellar showings alongside the new champions.

Naomi and Carmella were the first duo eliminated after Naomi was rolled-up by both of The IIconics. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce were pinned soon after, they had attempted to escape the clutches of Nia Jax & Tamina by retreating back to their pod but after the pair forced their way in, it didn't take long before a Samoan Drop each put paid to their chances.

A brutal looking second rope Samoan Drop on Liv Morgan by Nia Jax then ended the chances of The Riott Squad and Jax & Tamina looked like the team to beat. However, after Bayley dodged an onrushing Jax and the 'Irresistible Force' crashed through the plexiglass pod, the remaining four competitors united to eliminate Tamina.

Bayley was taken out of action after being driven spine first into a Chamber pod beam, leaving an already injured Sasha to take on Rose & Deville. They seemed to have the match won after a picture perfect Glam Slam from Mandy Rose, but Sasha managed to kick out and apply a modified Banks Statement on Sonya Deville for the emotional submission victory.
